I've been a bit behind with client assignments of late, so it was good to finally meet up with singer songwriter Mark Britton for his artist profile images. Mark's first publicity shots were studio based and he wanted to compliment them with the natural look and feel of being on location.  After reviewing other artist's images for inspiration, Mark wished to emulate aspects of the classic images of his favourite artists images - in particular the rich filmic tones and iconic backdrops of London and classic Georgian architecture. As time and extensive travel budgets were against us, I decided to focus on the texture and tones of the backdrop rather than making Birmingham a recognisable setting. I've selected some of my favourites from the shoot and I hope you get to see more of them with the launch of his new album in 2016.
