Since writing the  ‘Do you mind I am smoking a fag’ blog, I’ve gone through my images and realised that themes, rather than planned projects, bubble away somewhere in my subconscious. They must, I mean, I’m no twitcher, fancier or spirit channeller for Jack Duckworth, but pigeons seem to regularly appear in my images.

I’m not sure why, but maybe it's because they can add some drama, grace and even a little comedy to an image.

This, of course, might just be a passing flight of fancy, but you never know, it might just take off.
