This image was added to the Explore gallery ( a sort of the best images of the day from members) on Flickr this weekend. Really, you may ask incredulously? And to be honest, I don't blame you. It's not that I don't like it, I mean, I took it and published it, but as to why it was regarded above thousands of other photographers work that day, I have no idea. What I have realised these past few years is chasing likes, favourites, shares, or what ever the currency of a virtual pat on the back might be is a fruitless, frustrating and tail chasing exercise. I'm grateful for the tokens of appreciation, don't get me wrong, but from now on, for my sanity's sake, I'll suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous photographic fortune in the off chance others may enjoy what I'm doing.
Till next time...
